If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

You can now book a weekend /bank holiday appointment with a GP or Practice Nurse. Appointments can be booked in advance via your usual GP, Saturdays and Sundays at PCN Clinic, 1st Floor, Central Canvey Primary Care Centre, Long Road, Canvey Island SS8 0JA.

THIS IS NOT A WALK-IN SERVICE - APPOINTMENT ONLY

Patients requiring home visits should contact the NHS 111 Service or dial 999 for medical emergencies.

How do I book an appointment?

Contact your GP practice in the usual way to request an appointment. If there is no appointment available at your practice, they may offer you an appointment with the GP Extended Access Service, if this is right for you.

If your practice is closed and you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111. They may also be able to book an appointment for you with the GP Extended Access Service.

Please note that your consent will be required in order for an appointment to be booked for you.

This surgery and most others in the the Castle Point area will be closed from 1pm for the whole afternoon and evening on the following dates:

• Tuesday 8th September 2026
• Tuesday 6th October 2026
• Tuesday 3rd November 2026

The surgery take part in a scheme for all practice staff to develop and update their professional skills and knowledge.

Emergency cover will be available by calling NHS 111.
