If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Please allow at least 5 working days for Urine/Blood Tests, 10 working days for x-rays/ultrasound. Smear Test results are sent directly to the patients NHS App or by post usually within 6 weeks.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOnline account
- phone Monday - Thursday between 8.30am and 2:00pm to enquire about your test results. We have a dedicated results line available at these times which you can access by selecting option 3 when you call.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior written permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor or Nurse if you are advised to do so.
